Why his words weigh differently

Look at the structure of what he says, because it is the structure of expert testimony everywhere: first the standing, then the verdict. I have been in selling for more than 38 years, and I know when a person is skilled or not — he establishes his qualification to judge before he judges. This is a man whose books teach the world’s largest technology companies how human beings are influenced and how minds change; more than sixteen thousand professionals have sat in his trainings. Assessing skill in exactly this territory is what he is paid for.

Then notice the vocabulary of the verdict. Not vague praise — specifics from his own field: how to connect with human beings, how to change mindset and state very fast.
